Texas A&M University is committed to your success including overcoming temporary financial hardships. The following resources are available in time of temporary financial hardship.

Emergency Aid Application

This application is for students requesting emergency aid for Fall 2020.

Click on the link above and follow the guidance below to submit an application if you have unforeseen financial expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic or other unexpected event(s).

In the Financial Aid Portal, ensure Academic Year 2020-2021 is selected and click on the Helpful Links page (on the left) to apply. 

If you require funding for immediate needs, please email financialaid@tamu.edu.

My FAFSA information has changed

If you or your family are experiencing extreme changes to your financial situation (i.e., loss of employment, medical expenses, separation/divorce), we may be able to adjust your FAFSA to reflect your current situation more accurately.

Short-Term Loan

I need money to help me pay rent, buy food,
books or other educational related expenses
(including Aggie Rings).

Short-Term Loans (STL) must be repaid in a one to twelve-month period.   

I need temporary help with
paying tuition and fees

The Emergency Tuition and Fees Loan (ETFL) is available for this purpose
